Wesley for Fisher and # 9 from GSW. Then package Fisher+James for Jason Williams and #19+xxx to match the salary.

GSW get the huge cap relief. Memphis at this point would do anything to get rid of JW. So if they get two good PG, they would jump on it. Rocks get #9, 19 and JW for Wesley/James -not a bad deal. With #9,19 and 24 pick+ the expiring contracts of Spoon/Moochie/Baker/Ward will definitely yield some solid players. Your opinion---?

How much is JWill making? And are you sure we could even trade Fisher right away after acquring him? I thought one had to wait like 60 days or something?

Golden State wouldn't do it. Getting rid of Fisher takes one big contract off their hands, but it doesn't give them any cap relief. We'd probably need to take Foyle's deal for GS to even consider parting with the #9 pick.

Isn't this like, your third thread over a potential trade with Golden State involving Fisher (not to mention this being a double post)?

I don't know why this Golden State deal keeps on getting brought up. I've never heard anything about them shopping their pick. And why would Memphis want Fisher. His contract is a year longer than J-Will, and he's major downgrade in talent. If it was just James and expiring contracts, I'll bet the Grizz would bite, but only Isiah is dumb enough to take on longer contracts in what amounts to be a lateral move (i.e. Motay, Malik Rose).

Why would GSW give up their #9 to us? Wesley is up in age and Fisher is still young. No way it would happen.

Actually no. First he started a trade thread involving Fisher. And then Later he did a trade thread involving Williams . LOL. I guess it was just the natural progression to do a thread involving both of them.
