Houston trades: SF Terence Morris (3.8 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 0.9 apg in 16.3 minutes)
PF Kenny Thomas (14.1 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 1.9 apg in 34.5 minutes)
    C Kelvin Cato (6.6 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 0.4 apg in 25.5 minutes)
Houston receives: SF Andrei Kirilenko (10.7 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 1.1 apg in 26.2 minutes)
    C Greg Ostertag (3.3 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 0.7 apg in 15.0 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -10.5 ppg, -8.2 rpg, and -1.4 apg.

Utah trades: SF Andrei Kirilenko (10.7 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 1.1 apg in 26.2 minutes)
    C Greg Ostertag (3.3 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 0.7 apg in 15.0 minutes)
Utah receives: SF Terence Morris (3.8 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 0.9 apg in 68 games)
PF Kenny Thomas (14.1 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 1.9 apg in 72 games)
    C Kelvin Cato (6.6 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 0.4 apg in 75 games)
Change in team outlook: +10.5 ppg, +8.2 rpg, and +1.4 apg.

    TRADE ACCEPTED

I think Kirilenko is by far the most valuable guy in this trade, so I seriously doubt that Utah would do it, but there might be health concerns with Ostertag...

    Yeah...long, boring offseason... :)

I don't know. Having Kirilenko would be nice, but having Ostertag would just about make me puke. I also don't know how useful Andrei may be for the Rockets. He seems like he has real good potential, but we have Griffin at PF and Boki at SF. I think Boki may fit the team better, so AK may just have to settle as a backup. Also, Cato is not that bad. I'd rather have him here than Greg. If Yao has problems, and Greg has health issues, Collier may start.

I would rather pass...although I think the Jazz would too.

We're removing the glut from the power forward position while adding a future all star in Kirilenko and basicly swapping pathetic centers. I would do it if Utah would do it.

I hate to say this but the Jazz would never give Kirilenko for KT and Cato. Ain't going to happen.

This isn't a "would you" trade. It's a "would they" trade. Kirilenko is a rising star. You think they want a highly overpaid center along with a almost-nothing SF and a backup PF? Haha....

only if it stays hypothetical. That's all we need is TMo and KT ripping us up in Jazz uniforms. Fuget about it...

It depends on how many years Ostertag has left and can Kirilenco play some time at shooting Guard? I

No! Keep the team the way it is unless we can get a player like Duncan.

Ostertag and Cato wold neutralize each other,T-Mo wouldn't be needed and Kirilenko would be a strong pickup for us. If Mo-T were fit I would do this trade.

I don't think the Jazz would give Kirilenko either but it's only a hypothetical trade to see what the BBS fans would do.

i'm pretty sure the jazz have alot of their future plans built around kirilenko. imo, no way they would make that trade.

    i'd do it though. :)

Its a nice thought, I dont like Ostertag, but I like Kirilenko so I would probably do the trade.

I think Ostertag's contract is shorter than Cato's. If that's true, then there's no way Utah do this deal. This year is Malone and Stockton's farewell party, and they're rebuilding right aftr that. Kirilenko is just the type of player they want in their rebuilding process. Young, hardworking, defensively excellent, and constantly improving. He's their SF of the future. If Deshawn Stevenson can be their man at the 2, they already have 3 nice pieces in their puzzle. Jarron Collins is the same type of player: hardworking, great work ethic. So all they lack is a PF and a PG, and I'm assuming Raul Lopez won't pan out (knee injury).

You guys think they'll trade Malone if he wants to play again?

I don't think that Malone will be traded because they would want a very high quality frontcourt player like Duncan in return.

To be honest, I would give up much more than that to get Kirilenko. If we're putting out a starting front line of Ming, Griffin, and Kirilenko every night our defense would instantly go from being one of the worst to one of the best. I predict Kirilenko will be like Irk Nowitzki, but with the D.
