    How about this trade?
Houston trades Francis,Cato, Nachbar to Utah for AK 47, Arroyo, Ostertag, Stevenson and future 1st round pick(or just get pack the pick for the Rice trade).
Not sure if this trade would work...
I would pull the trigger on this one in a minute...

    Houston Line Up

    5. Yao, Ostertag
    4. Taylor, Weatherspoon, Padgett
    3. AK 47, Jackson, Piat.
    2. Mobley, Stevenson
    1. Arroyo, M. Jackson

he didn't say this should be done before the deadline.

i like the other trade rumors better. AI, or rasheed, or even more simple trade for ak is our best bet.

too early to pull a trade like this, unless ur geetin a bonafide superstar in return (Brand, R. Allen) i wouldnt trade Stevie. AK hasnt shown me that yet.

My thinking is that this Rockets team has to many stars...We need more role players not allstars........Remeber how the Rockets won their 2 championships on star and bunch of role players...AK 47 and Arroyo would complement/benefit this team better now and in the future....

Players deserve the full season before any trade consideration.

Why would Utah do this? Seems like they get the short end of the stick to me w/ the addition of a first round pick.

Steve Francis does seem to be the epitome of a Jerry Sloan-type player!

    In a heartbeat.

Arroyo, AK47, and... Tags, Stevenson, and a pick, too?

    For Francis, Cato, and N-bar.

    yeah.

Let's see... we replace Cato's production almost # for # and the contract expires at the end of the season.

    We get a legit pg.

We get a stud 5 tool swingman that would play perfectly with Yao at 3 or 4, that gets a near triple double each time out.

We get an extra 2 to trade or keep, who's been trained to go backdoor or play a pick and roll.

We lose an underachieving pg that's max, an underachieving center with a long contract, and a draft bust that doesn't fit with the coach.

And we get a lotto pick.

Who's voting no? Et tu, Yetti? "Give them a year" does NOT apply in all circumstances. No one in thier right mind could pass this up.

Can we throw in Mo T and get Harpring too?

    Yao/Ostertag
    Kirelenko
    Harp
    Cutino
    Arroyo

That would be a very nice lineup. Personally, i like Lopez more than Arroyo. AK47, Harp and Lopez are very HIGH IQ type players.

Just want to seat back and enjoy the season. JVG won't even pull any stunt on trading Francis at this time. Not yet!!

Jerry Sloan doesn't want Steve Francis.
