Trade Yao Ming to the team with the 1st pick in the draft for their pick and a good PF? With that pick we would take Andrew Bogut while we will still have Deke to back him a couple of years.

    Line-up:

    C: Bogut/Deke/Badiane
    PF: JHo/PF?/Padgett
    SF: Tmac/Whoever
    SG: Wesley/Barry
    PG: Sura/MJames/Vasoullis(sp?)

If Badiane works out at PF so much the better. We still have some expiring contracts also.

The basic question is would you trade Yao for any combination of assets?

This is a trolling thread, and therefore I rate it a zero. Oh, and I picked "No Way!".

tracy mcgrady doesn't ask for a trade to houston if you've got andrew bogut.

he saw first hand yao tear up his team last year if you got at him 1 on 1. thats why he wanted to come here.

Maybe you should add TMac in the trade. How about Yao + Tmac for Wade + Shaq?

It's not even funny. At least not for TMac. ;)

Should we just make a list of things we would trade Yao for? That might be more entertaining.

    world peace

    a billion dollars

a big montana melt from arby's

    roger clemens' stolen hummer h2

    ...

oh hey! maybe the fakers will get the #1 pick and we can trade him to LA! super!

These threads at a point in the season like this are just stupid...can you please enjoy our wins and the great season we are having so far?

Even in times of winning we are talking stupid trades and stuff? I mean it sucks when we are doing bad and have a whole first page of trade this for that..would you do this deal and stuff....

But now that we are winning and doing great people are still posting this stuff...

    Come on already!!!

Nobody is untouchable. But equal value (or more) for a 7'6" durable, unselfish, offensive machine, with a strong work ethic and a game changing (if maddeningly inconsistent) defensive presence is Kevin Garnett or Tim Duncan.

1st of all AB is a soph still in the tourney & hasn't indicated he's thinking about entering the draft. 2ndly why would anyone want to trade a 24 year old 18/8 player in his 3rd year who's improving each year?

By the way, I said HELL NO!! I mean "no way"!

I am a huge fan of Bogut, he has the same game as Sabonis. However, I wouldn't trade Yao for anything. Yes, including world peace.

Yao is a slightly-above-average #1 overall draft pick.

Quite frankly ,especially since this looks like a relatively weak draft, trading Yao to take a less proven player at #1 is poor decision-making.

It isn't a matter of Yao being a world beater or not, just playing the odds.
