If we could the Hamilton and Billups, we could solve problem in both PG and SG positions. But will we do that? Or will Detroit accept TMAC for the two?

Sorry I posted it again cause it's supposed to be a poll.

Why would Detroit do that? billups, rip, yao, scola, battier would be a solid lineup both defensively and offensively.

Sure. Why not? A lot healthier, a lot more playoff experience.

Do you really think Pistons' GM is that BIG idiot??? I don't think so. Altough it would be a great deal for Houston, awful for Pistons of course

they have good big men. they're a superstar scorer away (the last 3 teams they lost to have great wingman scorers).

i think dumars would be wiling to do a hamilton + wallace for tmac, but not bilups. you don't rid of your entire backcourt.

but billups are not the old bullups any more. He played horribly in the ECF series.

b/c the pistons still think he's a great player. with tmac there, he can do some facilitating too. plus, he has stuckey, who's more of a scorer so billups can play even less minutes.

all i'm saying is you don't trade your whole backcourt for one player.

dumars would def. deal hamilton + wallace for tmac though b/c wallace is just a dumb player who's wasting his talents and hamilton is too one-dimensional.

billups, tmac, prince, maxiell, mcdyess is a ridiculous starting lineup so dumars might do it.

Billups sucks that is why he scored 26 and 29 points in the last two games of ECF.

    Detroit would be pretty good:

PG good second year player in Stuckey
    SG Tmac
    SF Prince
    PF Sheed
    C Maxiell

    and We'd be pretty solid

    PG Billups
    SG Rip
    SF Battier
    PF Scola
    C Yao

win win for both teams :D

I've always supported T-Mac in his time here, but this trade is so much better for the Rockets than the Yao one. We wouldn't think twice to pull the trigger on this and Detroit wouldn't think twice to laugh and hang up the phone.

    billups/rip/dice/hunter for tmac/bj/landry/alston

that's a fair trade for all the parties.

detroit got partially reloaded with s superstar
tmac can finally pass the first round in the weak east
houston got the best starting 5 WHEN healthy:

    yao/dice/battier/rip/billups

In a damn heartbeat.. Shoot he wouldn't even need to pack up his bags because I would do it for him.. Hell I would drive him in the airport and help him find a house in Detroit.. But seriously the Pistons would never ever do this deal.

Stuckey looked real good. I think billups is getting a little older. I think we go for it the next two or three years. This deal makes sense for both teams.
