I think we can see the biggest problem on this team is size and rebounding. Thomson destroyed hayes for rebounds even when hayes was trying real hard. Pryzbilla is very good player playing defense and rebounding. the trail blazers have oden so they might do it. We have a chance to make the playoffs, but we can't have erica and thompson go off on us. Battier is our best defender, but the reason our defense used to be so good was yao, and deke when he played. This team can score, and if they could improve their D they would be tough to beat.

If only Pops still is on this team,we could do him for Przybilla fo' sho. :p Battier ? Hell no,without him, who's gonna step up on the defensive end to contain Kobes,Roys and other elite scorers in the league?

Only the Blazers would do this.

Well,I was just saying,it ain't gonna happen anyway even though we have Daryl Morey the Mage Manager on our side.

Oden is immature on the court and when faced with other bigs,he ain't gonna contribute to the game that efficiently.

    oh , hah.

I would like to do a Scola and Battier for Bosh (we would need a filler still, huh?)

If Tracy were to come back healthy I'll do it in a heartbeat. But now knowing what's going on with Tracy this will be a tough one.

Giving up main scorers and top defender on the team to get a franchise player in return,to me it doesn't sound like a smart move after all.

Does it imply the trade involving Przybilla and Webster both? ;)

Webster are putting up nice numbers on his recent performance and his return from injuries so far seems to me a success .

Absolutely not. Pryz does not even come close to the value the Battier gives to the Rockets. Obviously, I agree that we need some help in the size-department for rebounding and defensive purposes. But, Pryz is definitely not the answer. I'd take Pops over him at this point.

I think Morey is working on a minor "splash" trade that will bring in a big. I don't see Shane or Chuck leaving the Rockets anytime soon.

if you add outlaw or webster in there, and we add in a filler. then you have to do it.

this might be battier's last good year.

Why give up one of our best scorers to get a new guy who will be a FA in a year? At least Scola should be a restricted FA, there is a possibility that we could trade to get Bosh and then lose him in FA.

I like Przybilla, he actually kind of remind me of a center version of Battier and Hayes. Very underrated defensive impact.

I'm considering price and potential versus what we already know Of Pryz. I'd like to have whatever you're smoking for supporting a flopper! :p

    Anyway, Shane is a keeper.

You can't always just trash and get something back. You have to give up actual talent, and you have to overpay for bigs.

Our D w/o a big man is just terrible. Everyone has a shot at the basket. Wish we had been able to land gortat, but if we don't land a big we will be in trouble again 7 footers with marginal skill.

great idea, let's give up shane to get Prz so he can contribute this season and then next year he can ride the bench behind yao, scola and landry......yes, that makes sense...

Let's stop jumping to conclusions that will only benefit the team this year. Prz is a solid back up for Yao, but acquiring him doesn't make DA, cook, and chuck disappear, and if we're going to give up shane i'd rather get more than somoneo who's not going to get more than 10-15 mins next year.
