I want to start off by saying I am a big Rockets fan and I like Steve, Cuttino, etc... But, I was thinking. If they were to make a BIG trade what would I like them to do. I want to stress that I'm not here to say they need to trade now or any time in the near future. I am only thinking about "what if..."

    Rockets send:
    Steve
    Cuttino
    Cato or MoT

    Bucks send:
    Redd
    TJ Ford
    Gadzuric

I think Redd would be an unbelievable fit on this team especially with Yao. He is one of the top FG & 3pt shooters in the league and has the ability to drive and finish. Not a bad defender either. Ford is a good quick, pass first 1. Gadzuric would just be decent big body to help at PF.

    Yao / Gadzuric or Cato
Cato or MoT / Gadzuric / Padgent
    JJ / Boki / Piak
    Redd / Boki / Piak
    Ford / MJ / Wilks

Steve and Mobley would flourish in the East & on Bucks and Cato oe MoT would be one of the better front court players in that conference.

    Any thoughts?

Why would you want to trade 2 of our 3 best players for 3 marginal players. Bad deal.

I don’t know if either team is looking to trade right now because both have been playing well lately.

But of course I would CONSIDER that trade. Milwaukee has an almost identical record as the Rockets with a much less talented supporting cast. Redd and Ford are paid dirt cheap are much younger and Mobley and Steve. Redd is just an amazing player. Even better than the player he replaced, Ray Allen.

Your prob right adeelsiddiqui. I was thinking with Redd being an up and coming star and both he and Ford being so young that the bucks were going to really want something good in return.

Correction, Milwaukee has an almost identical record as the Rockets in a joke of a Conference.

    It's not the same thing.

It'd give us capspace. I dunno how it'd improve us though. I still say

Francis, Cato, TE for T-Mac, Hunter, Lue.

Because francis is better than the two of these guys. Francis can put a team on his shoulders and not many can. Better keep him unless we get someone who can carry a team.

I find it hard to believe that most of you have even seen Redd play much, other wise you would consider this trade more. Redd is great up and coming 2 guard a real all star caliber player. He would excel with a team with a good big man and would put up just as good or better numbers that both Steve and Cuttino. He would kill teams trying to zone Yao inside because of his outside shot and ablity to get inside the D. You ask every GM in the NBA, they would love having him on their team based on talent, youth, and flat out team play.

I would love to get TJ and Redd on the team, but we're givng up WAY too much. Redd has become a really good player this year, and I think TJ is the true PG that could really help the team, but to give up Francis and Mobley in return, no way.
