take Quentin Richard or Jamal Crawford off of New York's hands to fill our off guard spot?

I know we are looking at taking Roy, but in the event of that not happening, I'm trying to think of other alternatives.

Don't bash if u don't like the idea, it's just for discussion.

What do you give up that:

    A. New York would accept and...

    B. matches salary wise and...

    C. you are not better off keeping than overpaying for a third option?

    QRich is a loser

Crawford can play, has a good shot, a decent ball handling, he could be our 6th man

I actually would prefer Richardson b/c he is just a shooter. He doesn't pound the ball and would not take shots away from Yao or McGrady. While in Phoenix last year, he would wait for penetrators to dish him the ball and launch 3 pointers.

For our offense to be even more potent, I think we need a shooter from the 2-guard to make double teaming defenses pay.

    B-ball Freak:

If the Miles trade doesn't go down, we could use Howard and Sura's contract. I'm sure we would have to take a returning bad contract, so long as it wouldn't be Mo Taylor or Francis...too much bad blood there.

Would Y'all... take Lebron James or Dwayne Wade off of Cleveland and Miami's hands to fill our off guard spot?

I know we are looking at taking Roy, but in the event of that not happening, I'm trying to think of other alternatives.

I would take Crawford in a second. I wasn't a big fan of his game early on in his career but he is a pretty good shooter and can handle the ball. He could be a very good 3rd option for us.

Awesome thought since NY is clogging up at 2 spot(SG), I'll take Jamal Crawford anytime of the day. The kid has tremendous game coming off the bench and i'm sure the Knicks would love to take the no.8 to fill the void on the 4 spot(PF). Jamal has proven himself that he can play the game of basketball.
