If Colt McCoy didn't get injured in the BCS title game. Would Texas have beaten Alabama??

IMO Texas would have easily won by 10 or more.

As a fan of neither team, I voted yes

I can't base anything behind that opinion because there is no opportunity for fact, it's all opinion. It's just what I think.

Here we go again......This is all in the BCS Championship thread. You can't ask these "What if" questions because you really don't know what would happen

What if Colt McCoy didn't get hurt. Well, do you think that Bama would of just kept trying to run the ball every play in the second half and play so conservatively in the second half? What if Sam Bradford didn't get hurt in the first quarter against Texas. Would Texas of even been in the national championship game.

You just don't know. Texas lost. Hopefully we'll meet again next year in the championship game you can try to avenge your loss

Don't know, but Texas would have had a better "Chance" to win.

The nation got cheated out of a great matchup.

Nobody knows. Both UT and Alabama would have played the game differently.

Would Texas have won if their wide receivers didn't drop so many passes?
If Alabama hadn't sleepwalked on special teams?
If Mark Ingram hadn't sat out the second half?
If Alabama had actually bothered to throw the ball downfield once in a while?

I don't know. But I do know this: Texas lost.

All I saw was that Texas came out with a vengeance.

Had he not gotten hurt, it would have been a LOT more interesting.

Texas would've had a better chance... Not sure if they would have won.

The real question I have... if I go back in time and shoot Neil O'Donnell the night before, do the Steelers win Superbowl 30? Otherwise, Larry Brown is going down!

Well, as soon as I figure out the whole space/time continuum malarkey.

Would the Houston Oilers have won if Jim Kelly would have played?

    There's absolutely no doubt whatsoever.

You need to include an "I don't know" option.

I think UT probably would have won, but who knows?

But for those talking about the * b.s., I highly doubt you would be willing to put one next to yours if you knocked Ingram out of the game
