Because it's funny (come on, you're talking about jeremy lin mattering to the economy of one of the worlds biggest petrochemical economies, see russia right now? that's about a billion times more important), and no one really cares about any thread

I never said that Jeremy Lin is the Houston economy. So the thread is misleading to be honest the guy's a liar. I said I don't know if the Rockets need the cash Jeremy Lin brings in. It's stupid because I voted no on the poll. It's even dumber because I don't want to be around people that need to berate others to feel good about themselves.

No one cared about the Houston Rockets before Jeremy Lin made Presti trade Jeremy's 2nd fiddle James Harden. 3rd option Dwight Howard came to Houston to play with Lin. Jeremy's also responsible for Parsons' good looks.

I'd also like to thank Jeremy Lin for winning the 1994 and 1995 NBA championships. He single-handedly carried a team with no other star players in 94.

The whole southwest NBA division and their economic regions would implode if Jeremy Lin left. Don't ever underestimate the heart of a Jeremy.

All the strip clubs in Houston are closing because Jeremy Lin keeps those girls employed.

When I go to the Karaoke Club and the cheesy Christian song book in english is gone, I'll know his impact.

No more Michael W Smith songs

This is an extremely strong contender for Worst Thread of the Month. Clear favorite at the moment and tough to see anyone catching up.

A Lin fan was concerned about Houston's economy after Lin leaves.

    Don't you care about Houston?

He might be right, Houston could be the "The Grapes of Wrath Part Deux"

    if Lin leaves

He could be the Bernie Madolf of the NBA, Houston fans could be part of a pyramid scheme buying into the Lin hype
