Would LeBron allow this to happen if he was in Kobe's situation?

LeBron with Nash, Howard, MWP, and Gasoft?

They would be a top 3 seed instantly.

    Would it be his choice?

We all heard about how this was the greatest team on paper... now you're switching people out and calling it the greatest team on paper again... forget the Lakers.

Howard would probably average 25 ppg with LeBron passing to him.

LeBron loves to distribute the ball and keep his teammates involved. Dwight or anyone for that matter would love the play with LeBron. His passing ability is probably his best skill. Kobe is a chucker who doesn't give a crap about his teammates.

I still think they will be right there in the finals when it's all said and done.

Remember how Knicks was when D'Anthoni was the coach?

Anyways, their offense may improve but their defense will still suck.

Lebron would instantly make many teams a top 3 seed.

They would be as close to undefeated as a team this far into a season has been.

Lebron carried a crappy Cavs team for most his career.

Can't really compare the situations here. They don't even play the same position.

Lebron James reminds me of Magic Johnson.

Lakers would be. LeBron's a better teammate, passer, defender, play-maker, and scorer than Kobe. Dwight Howard and LBJ alone would likely dominate the league.

Kobe's numbers are not reflective of his true value to the Lakers. As a $30m player, you are expected to make it work. Volume scoring in losing efforts should not be praised -- not with a $100m payroll.

As others have said...can't see how LBJ-led team doesn't make the playoffs. The guy has so many variables that make him probably the most flexible player in NBA history. Superstar at every position except C.

No, Lebron won't allow that to happen. Instead, The Decision II will happen.

LerBon wouldn't have allowed the Great Depression to happen if he was president in 1929.

Lebron would have already won a championship with this current Lakers team, even 30 games into the season. He is just that good.
