I guess we'll never know but the way Phoenix and Minnesota are playing I doubt the Rockets could have caught them anyway had they won some of their recent games. The T-wolves have owned the Blazers of late, thus giving me another chance to say: PIPPEN, YOU SUCK! Old School ------------------ I voted YES!
Pippen you S-U-C-K MJ's jock!!!!!!! ------------------ "...Do you hear 'em? They're everywhere!!! AAAHHH!!!" That's what the other teams will be saying after being shellshocked by Steve Francis and Co.
OK! If you're looking at the final records it might have not mattered. The problem is as fans we do want to see our team play with hearts. If they hustle their tails off and lose, so be it. If they choose to play heartless and lose, DAMNIT! I don't know if I'm too harsh, but they haven't shown any heart in recent games (except maybe the Wizards' game). It hurts they don't make the playoffs (well, there's still a slim chance, extremely slim though). But it hurts even more seeing them not playing with heart. I've been an extreme optimist here since they made the run around the All-Satr break, even when they lost the Kings-Clippers-Sonics road trip. Why? They had hearts! Now I'm not saying I give up on them, but not seeing the fire and desire in them really hurts me. Minn: 44-30 Rox: 40-35 They should have had three more road victories (Seattle, LAClippers, NJNets). That alone would've put them at 43-32, 1.5 games out, with the game against the T-pups meaningful. It also doesn't take much imagination to add back one of the Phoenix losses in March, slimming the margin even more. Oh well. ------------------
