Would you like it if they replace Shaq with Drexler?

Oh, please no. At least Shaq is funny sometimes. Drexler is just embarrassing (though I wonder if he's that way because the Rockets actually want their broadcasters to be homers?).

To my memory, Drexler has been very good on interview and studio shows. As a color commentator, there's probably a perception that you must be entertaining in the moment. You can tell he tries but struggles on the air in the moment.

Horry is also VERY good in interviews. I've long wanted him to join the Rockets broadcasts.

Yes, Drexler would be fantastic. He should also get into journalism... maybe cnn, bbc, or animal planet.

It would be the Inside the Former Rockets Players with Ernie show then.

A basketball legend who knows little to nothing about commentary and gets annoying after 30 minutes of talk? He may be over qualified for the job..

Calvin Murphy would be. I just love listening to his commentary and analysis.

Clyde is perhaps the absolute worst game announcer in the NBA. I just mute him. He ceaselessly spouts the same worn, frayed phrases. Just a total train wreck.

clyde isn't funny and is too nice.

i'd rather them replace shaq with karl malone. hate him as a player but he was hilarious last year after the all-star game

There should never be a microphone in front of Clyde no matter where it is.

Absolutely not. TNT should dump Shaq, give up on the 4th man concept and stick with Ernie, Kenny and Charles who are great together.

If there has to be a 4th man, it should be an ex-NBA coach who fits in with those 3 and isn't afraid to voice his opinion. Preferably someone who isn't hoping to rejoin the coaching ranks.

You think? Night in and night out, he's the consummate professional. And baby seal clubber.

Shaq is just a place holder until Ron Artest retires.
