Did everyone forget he was on our team? or forget about him taking over the Spurs?

This is why JVG should be fired... he basically got rid of Bonzi because he didn't play "his" way. Bonzi would have been our 3rd scoring option which we DESPEREATELY needed this series. Perhaps he could have guarded Boozer as well... what do you think?

No because VGD is the coatch.
Yes if someone else is the coatch.
    Same for V-Span.
    So the problem is coatch.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing.
In a series this close, you have to think any amount of help could have made the difference.

The Bonzi that played against the Spurs last year would have helped. The Bonzi of this season wouldn't have helped at all. That should be obvious to those who watched him play this season.

Hell yes! We would have won this series with bonzi playing and the only reason he wasn't was because of stupid JVG. All you jokers laughed at me when I said we would regret not having bonzi in the playoffs and now the joke is on you cause I was right. They kept talking about needing another player who can create his own shot tonight. Bonzi can create his own shot.

imo bonzi would of mattered greatly against the spurs only. i also suspect he quit because if hecontinued sucking in the playoffs because of the injuries and lack of form he was harming his chances of getting the best possible deal this free agency.

If Bonzi weren't in deep depression about turning down $38MM in guaranteed money last summer, he might have helped. But his attitude was terrible, he never got into shape and was a total loss. Too bad Bonzi was more concerned about himself than the team.

Bonzi would've helped us greatly in this series.... too bad JVG is too stuck up.

Probably better than the sub 30% "shooters" Howard and Head.

I voted no, but only because JVG would never have played him.

But I think there are a lot of players on the Rockets that could have made a difference if JVG had taken a longer view.

    1. Snyder
    2. Bonzi
    3. V-Span

Just to name 3.........but JVG made his bed, and now the whole Rockets nation has to lie in it.

How anyone can honestly blame the Bonzi situation on JVG is beyond me.

Bonzi quit on the team. Hardly JVG's fault there.

JVG forced him to quit much the way that JVG is sending Vspan back to Greece.
JVG is Xs and Os, not a people person.
    His way or the highway.
He cant deal with a personality even if its to his advantage.
A la Phil Jackson and The Worm.

ill say JVG and Bonzi share the blame.
but if Bonzi was on 90% of other NBA teams, most likely he woulda played,
and wed be in the 2nd round.
(safe to say since Bonzi is more offensively productive than JHoward and Hayes, and we lost 2 games by a few points.)

I bet he is somewhere laughing.
FFwd to the future, JVG is laughing when Bonzi signs his new NBA contract.

Correction, Bonzi quit on JVG...he had enough of the little general, and in the end, Bonzi was 100% right.

And JVG has been known to quit too, remember?
