    1) Of course Yao with another season ending injury FREAKIN 7 GAMES INTO THE SEASON.

    2) Probably going to be 9th seed AGAIN.

    3) Phoenix not in the playoffs, meaning we get stuck with Orlando's ****ty ass pick.

    4) Knicks were better than we thought they were, destroying the value of our swap this year, and our draft pick next year.

    5) We give up a freakin first-rounder for some douche who tweets alot and never even sees the court.

    Don't forget that we traded away the heart and soul of our team for a benchwarmer. A benchwarmer who barely does anything in the freaking D-league.

    By the way, Battier's Grizzlies are on the way to the playoffs.

    Right now is not the time for a thread like this, the timing is inappropriate like trying to pick up a widow at a funeral...even my wife and kids have left the house to let me compose myself and lament.

    Glass half full is that we still get extra draft picks this year (Orlando) and next (NY). Plus a Clippers second rounder this year IIRC. Nothing to sneeze at.

    I'm not ready to give up on Williams yet. Even if he doesn't work out here, who knows what Morey may be able to trade him for?

    Yao getting injured and (possibly) not making the playoffs aren't much of a surprise. Hard to get pissed about them.

    Bottom line, Morey made a lot of hedged bets. None of them hit jackpot, but the hedges still net a good return.
