    That is a very good question. People, come on - don't y'all remember how incredibly annoying the Macarena was?? I mean I know Achy Breaky was annoying too but it pales in comparison to the Macarena.

    Macarena was tolerable the first time I heard it, if not the second. Achy Breaky Heart wasn't. End of discussion, at least for me.

    Pshaw! I actually bought the cassette single for "Macarena" - I don't know what in the hell I was thinking! To me - there is NOTHING more annoying than near the end of the chorus, all those stupid girls screaming "AHAHAH" like they are from some slavic country or are from Russia. I mean seriously how can any country song be worse than that? It can't. Macarena FTW!!!

    The best thing about that song was how it was played NONSTOP at Yankee stadium in the summer of 1996!
