I've never broken a bone or had a major muscle injury so IIRC, for me it would be dropping a free weight on my toes.
I'm told kidney stones is worse then child birth. And a hit to the nuts has to rank up there with any physical pain. If you're hit just right -- as I was at hockey Monday night -- your vision clouds, your breathing stops, and you're suspended for a second or two as as you realize the extreme pain you're currently in is about to get worse when the rest of your feelings return.
Earlier this year I got sick and had nasal congestion. I mistakingly took the wrong OTC medicine (stuff for chest congestion). The pressure in my Eustachian tube blew a hole in my ear drum. I woke up one morning with the most excruciating pain I've ever felt. Now, I've perforated my eardrum before but this was SOOO much worse. I've broken bones and gotten really bad gashes that required stitches. I've almost had a finger completely chopped off. Nothing compared to this. The hole never closed on its own I had to have surgery (Tympanoplasty) to fix it.
for a male, that must be or is one of the most painful physical pain. i quit drinking soda because im scared of kidney stones, haha.
PHYSICAL -tie: torn ACL and shattered femur EMOTIONAL -tie: Cougars-NC State, Oilers-Steelers, Oilers-Bills, Rockets-Sonics, Rockets-Jazz, father's death
The day after my first knee surgery. I can't even describe it. People refused to look at me, I was writhing in pain so much. And on top of that, my surgeon prescribed the wrong painkiller so it was only half the strength of what it should be. You were supposed to take it every 6 hours but it wore if in 45 minutes tops. I feel like yelling a long line of explitives just thinking about that day.
My wife has given birth and had stones, and she said give birth, w/o meds if she had a choice between that and stones. I've had stones twice and it brought me to tears both times. I can't imagine anything being worse than stones. Maybe death, but that's it.
This Summer while on vacation I got a crazy migraine that lasted about 3 days. That was probably my worst pain. More than broken bones or any illness I have had. I couldn't move, I threw up all the time...I literally started crying like a baby.
