I am not sure if this belongs here, but that I think last night passed up jazzercise as the worst halftime show I have seen at a rockets game. Yesterday they had little kids saying how they were thankful they were for the rockets and some Rabbis talking about hanukkiah. Not that I really care about halftime performances, but they could have given some local act a chance. I bet it would have meant a lot to a local act.
It was the worst one I've seen. A close second is when they have the large group of young kids trying to dribble basketballs.
Who remembers when the Rockets actually used to get quality halftime acts? It's like they got cheap and don't want to pay for them anymore
They do that skit every year. The worst halftime I've ever seen at a rockets game was last year. It was some boondocks high school, way out there. Thinking it was Conroe or something. Their dancers and cheerleaders were cheering and dancing to some 80s sounding stripper song. Now, that sound cool, but it wasn't. These girls looked like they played the offensive line for their team. Their gyrating made me feel uneasy, like I didn't want to be there. I also hate the dudes on stilts.
Aww... I actually didn't TERRIBLY mind the little kids. I only caught the tail end of it, but they were almost cute. Almost. The rabbis were cringeworthy. I get embarrassed very easily on behalf of other people, and I could hardly stand to watch them. The GOOOOOOO, ROCKETS! they tried every time they lost the crowd was so, so awful. ETA: I'd have preferred to listen to the guys that sang the national anthem. They were really good. a little overdramatic, but good.

I remember being at a game in the Summit where Destiny's Child performed when they were coming up... Let's get back to those days.
Not a fan of halftime acts or acts between quarters and during time-outs.... is the public so mindless that they can't sit a few minutes without some sort of dumb entertainment?

The worst half time and time out entertainment I've seen was at a Spurs game (vs the Rockets). The PA guy said "winner, winner, chicken dinner" multiple times during each of their little contests. It was embarrassing to have to sit through.

Kid and play was the shizznet yo. But other than that Rockets have been super lame. Except when those golden homosexuals stood atop of each other. That was oddly entertaining.
Man, WTF. I gotta ask, is it just me, or are those kids with special aids? I feel messed up for asking. White kid killed it though.
