Of the big FA signings so far, which one is the worst deal for the team? In other words, who was the most overpaid. 1. Utah – Carlos Boozer 6 years $68M 2. Utah – Mehmet Okur 5 years $50M 3. Toronto – Rafer Alston 6 years $29M 4. Orlando – Hedo Turkolu 6 years $39M 5. Phoenix – Steve Nash 6 years $68M 6. Golden State – Adonal Foyle 5 years $41M 7. Dallas – Marquis Daniels 6 years $38M 8. Denver – Marcus Camby 6 years $60M 9. Boston – Mark Blount 6 years $41M
Rafer Alston, Carlos Boozer, and Steve Nash, were not over paid... Marcus Camby, Marquise Daniels, Hedo Turkoglu, and Mark Blount were over paid, sort of... Mehmet Okur is over paid, unless he has a Brad Miller like season... Adonal Foyle should win this poll, easy!
Not to mention the fact that he's almost as important as Carmelo to that team, he stays healthy and the Nuggets will be tough.
John Stockton made an impact at 40+, 36 won't be that big of a deal for Nash unless he doesn't take care of his body, I think he will.
Stockton didn't play the uptempo, full throttle style that Nash does. He played a slow down style, running pick and rolls every play. The most physical he got was when he set picks, and then all it was was elbowing big men in the kidneys anyway. Nash is always burned out or injured by May and he takes a beating. Not as bad as Allen Iverson, but close. He won't last much longer.
