Well I decided to make my crappy weekend somewhat better by going to a movie with a few freinds. I wanted to watch Gothika, or that Mystic Movie, but both those are sold out so I was finally forced to go to ELF. Well I knew this movie was going to suck but little did I know what type of a day was ahead of me. I walk in to the theatre and then immediately go to the bathrooms during the previews, well as I'm going back to the theatre the guy asks for my ticket, and I Told him my frenz have it inside the movie, so I argue with this moron for 10 minutes then decide to just go buy another ticket and just write into management later when I have the time. So i go in and the movie had already started and all I see on the screen is Will ferell's Penis through a pair of yellow spandax. I just try to get that out my head and find my frenz, and to my total disgust I get stuck in the front row. Well, 10 minutes into the movie these 6th graders, who IMO were on their first date ever with a member of the opposite sex , started to giggle and make reatarded comments about the movie. I decide to hold in my temper. But then these idiots kept on pushing my seat from the back. I was really about to whoop em, when the girl beside me told me to just chill out. Then 2 minutes later one of em says, look at that Terrorist he's with a white girl, and My friend totally blew up on that kid. I was still calm, and then he looks at me and just whispers some crap. Then they keep on going with stupid comments and finally one of them spit gum and it landed in my hair. Well i go balistic and start throwing F bombs left and right, and am threatening to get them kicked out, and also told them to try and come outside the theater and see what happens. Well these kids knowing their fate of what could happen after some 12th graders get through with em decided to call security on me ( after the movie) , and I get moved out of the premises with my friends. I though this was totally racist(the kids were all white, adn most of us were arab/indian) as they didnt even bother to ask what happened, nor did they ask for any witnesses. They just escorted us out to our cars.

I was soo pissed that I am going to send this same post to the manager of the theatres and milk some free tickets out of him, but until then, Im not going to another PG 13 movie at that theatre

So any of you guys have any fun stories that will make mine feel like a walk in the park?

Wait, a kid spit gum on your hair and you didn't do anything?

You told him that you were going to get him after the movie?

    Why even wait?

no, ive only been to badly run theaters but if you want some advice on revenge, i can give you a ton of pointers as the intricacies of a movie theatre are very susceptible to sabotage. I found the movie hilarious, but probably because i didnt stare at will ferrells penis and i also had to mentally lower my intelligence to enjoy it. sorry you had to go through that treatment though, always carry mace.

You're averaging 16 posts per day. You were probably grumpy not being able to post worthless crap for 2 hours.

    Which theater chain was it?

I've actually not had trouble with kids at the movies. I have more trouble with adults who want to talk to each other about the movie throughout the whole thing as if they're at home watching the television.

Most of the kids at movies I go to are actually well-mannered. But then again, I don't usually go on Friday or Saturday nights. Saturday afternoons matinees are my prime movie-going time.

I enjoyed Elf, by the way, but I'm a sucker for just about any Christmas-themed movie.

    not really.

just went to a movie once with a friend of mine (straight guy) and we didn't use the "buffer seat" technique. anyway, some teens were hootin and hollerin in the back rows. i shhh'ed them a few times and asked them if they could be quiet after they wouldn't shut up. resulted in my friend and i being called homos and fags. i got up cursing a mile a minute and threatened to open up a can, but luckily my friend calmed me down (again... temper problem). we left midway through the movie, complained to the manager, and got our money back. oh yeah... the teens were escorted out of the theater. in the end, i just felt embarrassed for my friend... 1. they assumed he was gay because we sat together  ... and 2. because i should have just got up and told the manager in the first place. bastards.

What did you expect the management to do? You, a 12th grader, is dropping f-bombs and threatening little kids with a whoop assing. You should have handled yourself better. Show the manager the gum in your hair and calmly tell them about everything else that was going on. Then I highly doubt you would have been thrown out. I dont think they were being racists at all. They are probably going to side with the younger kids, especially if they are by themselves. You think they are going to risk getting sued by the parents of those childern if they were the ones that got thrown out?

If you were white and the kids were Indian it would still be you who would get thrown out.

He should have handled himself better after hearing "Look at that terrorist, he's with a white girl"? I don't know if I would have lost it, but I sure as hell can't blame him for it.

I worked at a movie theater for 4 years. Always tell the manager or staff first if someone is getting rowdy. Don't wait. We had several women who had gum/ chewed up gummy bears or jolly ranchers/ice/etc. throw into their hair and they complained, but there isn't a lot that can be done unless there is a cop or security right there, or someone that can witness they saw it(which no one does).

Hell, movie theaters are just a place a lot of parents drop off their wild kids so the theater can babysit them. Movies suck. I prefer to watch them at home with a beer and snacks that don't cost $1/bolus. But thats me.

Anyone under the age of 18 shouldn't be allowed in public without an adult. ;)

By the way, if it all possible you should really go to the movies during the day. You beat the crowds and all the rugrats are still in school (or should be at least). Cheaper tickets, too!

Don't drop a F - Bomb and go threatening little racist 12 year olds. As one minority to another, that's not a good idea. Definitley don't hurt him physically, arab/indian 12th graders beating up white 6th graders, it's not worth it. Especially in this state (I'm assuming you're from Houston).

Turn the other cheek, then smack them in the face with a couple fountain soda on your way out. If they want to start something then, it's their choice, but I don't think you're gonna find too many 6th graders wanting to fight with 12th graders.

Also I can't believe how many posts are actually talking smack to the author of the thread. WTF, the guy had probably the one of the worst night a person can have, and he comes here from freaking consolation and people talk sh*t to him is the last thing he needs or deserves.

Just a wee bit of a temper problem there. It doesn't sound like it had anything to do with racism on the part of the Theater management.

Seriously, if you throw F-bombs around in a theater and threaten a bunch of .....6th graders:confused: ....then I am sure in order to save their a** they would get management to interfere.

Oh yeah, and sorry you had such a bad day.

My worst day in a theater is when I was kicked off the premises because I was caught trying to sneak into The Matrix movie when it came out (the first movie). Since I wasn't 18 at the time. ...or is the age 17? either way I surpass both now.
