    #1 is definitely the SMU football death penalty. No doubt about it.

    Other worst sports moments for Big D in no particular order:

    -1980 Holiday Bowl where SMU blows a 20 point lead and loses to Jim McMahon's BYU.
    -Dallas Stars losing the Stanley Cup in OT at home.
    -Jimmy Johnson/Jerry Jones feud.
    -Mavs getting cheated on in the NBA Finals.
    -Michael Irvin's last game.
    -The Catch
    -Tom Landry's dismissal.
    -Jackie Smith
    -Ice Bowl

    That's all I can think of.

    Probably would have been higher if the game wasn't a blow out, that is if you were talking about the Superbowl Don Beebe brain fart. If it was the thanksgiving day game one, yeah that was awesome!
