"Adam/Atom(?) Smasher" on KRBE has to be, imo, the worst D.J. in ALL of Houston! I literally get sick when I happen to hear him as I flip through the radio stations. The guy thinks he's funny and witty BUT I beg to differ. Does any else feel the same way? OR is there someone else who's worse around these parts?
I guess the quality of music played on a radio station is inversely proportional to the annoyance of the DJs... Of course, I only listen to about 45 seconds of KRBE on any given day, so It doesn't concern me as much as some people...
I just can't stand 104 morning show. Glad i'm back at school in Austin now, tho. Is it "Atom" Smasher or "Adam"Smasher?...either way he's still a punk.
That's 45 seconds more than me! Anybody heard 93.7's overnight dj Greg Knight? He has the most annoying voice and style I have ever heard anywhere, not just on the radio. I literally jam my fingers on the radio when he begins to speak.
man - I don't listen to enough radio - I don't know any of these people. when I was mobile dj'ing I was the worst, thats why I don't do it anymore.
Another thing, sometimes he will fill in on the morning show, and his dork level goes down significantly. He can actually have conversation without saying something stupid.
And another thing, does anyone find his parody songs funny? I can't believe people actually request that crap. He did one for Eminem's Without Me.
is it me or does that tattoo look fake? i can't believe this guy is still on the radio! i remember hearing him when I came home to Houston during the summer of 1999. he was plain awful. didn't he have the "guess what's down adam/atom's pants" game? ugh, a morning DJ in Austin decided to copy that game. sad.
