Was just reading the Tammy Thompson conviction story in the SF Chronicle.

    Check this out:

I'm sorry, but that is just terrible. Did that add *anything* to your understanding of the courtroom scene? Oh, the courtroom was all orange, blue, and blurry, and this expressionless woman pointed to her own nose. And the courtroom reporter had a gunshot wound in his/her? forehead. Nice details.

Then I looked up more of this artist's work. Check this one out from the Scott Peterson trial.

It's like Pablo Picasso meets the short bus art program. Just look at that baby! It looks like something that would not qualify for the oval-headed Family Circus rejects.

How does one become a courtroom sketch artist? I have no talent but I know I could do better than this.

Please feel free to post your own examples of deplorable courtroom art, or create your own courtroom art, perhaps from your own professional experience! (paging SamFisher)

Okay Macalu, that takes the cake.

I can't envision anything more terrible than that.

macalu, I don't remember Tom Cruise holding an artichoke. But otherwise, that is quite good.

I thought he was still wearing his mitt from when he was playing baseball (or was it softball) at the beginning.
