Number 1 with a bullet: Richard Harris as Bo Derek's father in Tarzan, the Ape Man, which I admit I have watched 30 or more times, but never for the acting. Did help with prostate cancer, though...

Others: * Branagh in that movie about a hollywood reporter. WTF!?!?

    * Burton waaaaay over the top in Alexander the Great...probably not as bad as all that, just dissapointing.

    * Hanks in Bonfire of the Vanities.

    * John Wayne, a kid you not, as Attila the Hun.

    More later...

How about two in the same movie:

    "Virtuosity" characters:

    Denzel Washington: Lt. Parker Barnes

    Russell Crowe: SID 6.7

De Niro's charactor in Analyse this/that and his charactor in City by the Sea.

Jean Reno is Rollerball. I have never seen the more than a few minutes of it but what hell is he doing in something so bad?

pradaxpimp, the thread title is about great actors.....definitely none of those you mentioned.

Jim Carrey - The Cable Guy
Charles Bronson - Death Wish 1-28

Jim Carrey is doing a remake of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Anyone ever see the original?

I don't think any of these actors would be considered great and if Paul Walker is bad in anything why name him?

A lot of people think Warren Beatty and Dustin Hoffman were idiots for taking their roles in "Ishtar." Most people can't stand that movie, but I actually like it....

Jack Nicholson - A Few Good Men (classic overacting)

Bill Murray - Mad Dog and Glory (bad casting)
