Uh...the Slam Dunk. Steve is so good at dunks...and it hurt to see him bomb on national TV. The ASG...well that was different. When Don Nelson doesn't coach it next year and Steve is headache-free, he'll have a different kind of game.

It was nice to see Kobe get booed. I didn't feel sorry at all for his pathetic little interview with the NBC guy; he took so many freaking shots.

man shut up. Its not cool to be booed anywhere, much less your home town crowd. Why does everybody hate on Kobes for being cocky or taking too many shots...he can make those damned shots, so he has the right to be cocky. he's a great player, he has the most skill out of all the allstars, dont boo him just because he's Kobe.

Well...I wanted the Sixers to win last year, Kobe is a showoff, he is not a Rocket, and he is the defending NBA champ.

Nothing will make me feel sorry for the guy.

And it may not be cool to boo - but c'mon man this is Philly, The City of Booing Stars Other Than Allen Iverson.

I don't agree with him being booed in his hometown, but don't go on and on about how great he is. It's the All-Star Game they're all great players! I don't think he should have hogged the ball so much. It would've been to cool to see other players getting more touches. Of course he'll score, but damn. If Don hadn't have benched him for the 4th quarter he would've obliterated the previous record for most shot attempts. I don't like kobe, though I'll admit he's good, but it doesn't matter who it is I don't think they should hog the ball at the freaking ASG.

I'm not the biggest fan of Kobe, but booing at an allstar game? Give me a break. And yes Kobe took some bad shots, but I also think he was trying harder than anybody else out there.

All I can say is I will never root for a professional Philadelphia team again. I don't want there fans to have the satisfaction of a championship.

Booing anybody at the all-star game is terrible. It's not even a real game...just an exhibition! But, we are talking about some of the same fans that cheered when Michael Irvin ended his career in a game in Philly.

Now, I'm not a fan of Irvin or Kobe, but you don't boo someone at an all-star game, and you ought to be punched in the face if you cheer when a player is seriously injured.

Anyway, I didn't like the way Kobe played tonight either. When you are surrounded by the leagues elite players, you should not be taking 20+ shots. That was just selfishness IMO.

What?! I must have missed something. Were all of the tickets to the All Star game free this year? I didn't think so. You pay for your ticket, you cheer or boo as you see fit. As long as your behavior is not violent or excessively profane (there are kids around) in nature, it's your damn business. Philly is a tough town, with tough fans. That is part of the game -- the home team learns how to deal with it, and the visitors are shaken by it. Before someone spouts off about this being an All Star game, where there is no home team, no visitors, I understand that. The booing today transcends the normal boundaries of home vs. away. These fans are showing the whole world what they think of the guy that beat their team out of an NBA title. Let's not read too much into Kobe's crocodile tears. He's a smart guy, he will get the message: you beat us, we boo you. End of story.

Philly booed Santa Claus. You expect better for Kobe? btw, Kobe may well be the best, most complete, most explosive, most dangerous player in the nba this year, but a ballhog is a ballhog. Good luck getting a pass next year, Laker boy.

Mo Malone would've schooled him with an elbow sandwich. Chew on that, poster boy.

Steve's performance in the game wasn't good at all. But the fans that care understand that it wasn't representative of what he is capable of. I'm not embarrassed by it. Once he gets his headaches under control, then he can show everyone what he can really do. Unfortunately, migraines are frequently triggered by stress. And I'm sure he was feeling some this weekend.
