With 1:43 left in the second quarter of the Lakers' 98-97 victory Sunday, World Peace and Knight got tangled up while fighting for a rebound. World Peace was called for a flagrant foul after landing what looked to be a subtle uppercut to Knight's jaw. After the game, Knight told reporters that World Peace definitely gave him a punch. Though World Peace wasn't ejected Sunday, he'll be forced to sit Tuesday night as the Lakers visit the Brooklyn Nets. The Lakers will miss him on defense, especially if Coach Mike D'Antoni intends to put Kobe Bryant on point guard Deron Williams. Hiding Steve Nash may be a problem with Brooklyn's Joe Johnson, Gerald Wallace and Williams to cover. World Peace hasn't missed a game all season, playing in all 48 while averaging 13.2 points on 40.6% shooting (including 34.9% from three-point range).

Why was he grabbing Knight like that in the first place? And of course the "punch" deserves a suspension, especially since it was in Detroit.
LOL, the city of Detroit must have collectively made fun of Ron-Ron's mom or something. Dude has some serious beef with that franchise.
How did Artest behave so much compared to other teams? Houston was the only team that really controlled him
When I saw it yesterday I didn't think it deserved a suspension, they probably don't either but they cant afford to give him a longer leash.
Even without the sissy punch, the grappling is probably worth a suspension. Looks like he got ticked at the way Knight was boxing him out and started grabbing on him.
I actually like Artest but he needs to be suspended. He is always throwing an elbow or something and then acting like it was an accident when it absolutely was not. There is no question in my mind that Artest intentionally hit Knight in the chin with the intent to make it look like incidental contact.
