I was just thinking about all the conspiracy talk going on in the NBA with the Lakers vs Kings and the Draft and so forth when I started thinking of how this American world cup team could get so far with a better team than it usually has but never the less, an American team. I thought that this could in fact be no coincidence since we had the terrorist attacks last year. Maybe the soccer world is trying to show that a united team (or nation) can overcome anything. Just a thought although I'm in no way suggesting this is actually happening, I just wanted to throw it out there.
I don't consider myself a conspiracy theorist, but I thought the same thing too. On the Super Bowl, I was thinking Patriots and Eagles. Rams aren't very Patriotic, but Eagles are even though their colors are green and white and cream or whatever it is. I also thought the Rockets had a chance to win the top pick because it just seemed too obscure and out of the blue for them to land Yao Ming. Houston has a decent size Asian American population, 11th largest tv market, class organization. It fits. And no, there was only one person that assassinated JFK. Those redneck idiots in Dallas just wanted to be on TV.
Maybe that's why War Emblem almost won the Triple Crown, and, seemingly out of nowhere, Proud Citizen placed second at the Kentucky Derby... I'm gonna go out on a limb here and predict a Yankees championship to further add to the elucive 9/11 sports conspiracy.
I am going to go ahead and say that the Yankees are going to win by some kind of money conspiracy. They always seem to have money, and GOOD players keep getting traded to them. That is why they're going to win. And what the hell is a Redwing. The Washington Capitols should of won the Cup.
If the Yankees were meant to win, wouldn't they have won when they played in the World Series last year!
