I like Gibson but he doesn't really feel a need for the Rockets. He is like Luther Head. I feel Rockets will draft a wing player and power forward who can shoot if they keep there two picks. The Rockets also worked out 4 wing players on May 9 according to Draft Express. They were Maurice Ager of Michigan State, Morris Almond of Rice, Tarence Kinsey of South Carolina, and Jeremy Richardson of Delta State.

I think Gibson can be a quality defender at PG. If he can develop his jumper, he'd be a quality starter in the NBA. I don't think he'll ever be a great floor general, but he'd fit in fine with T-Mac and Yao IMO. Then again, I may be a UT homer, so take my opinion for what it's worth.

Gibson will never play point in the NBA. He wasn't even able to handle point guard duties at UT. At 6'-2", he doesn't have much hope of shooting guard either. Also, he completely disappears in games of any significance, including the tournament.

I didn't even realize he was going to be in the draft this year... huge mistake on his part because he has some massive holes in his game he needs to fill.

NBA Draftnet has him going at #44 in a very shallow draft.

yeah that's true i was surprised he went into the draft, i heard his stock was higher last year than this year, i think he shouldve of stayed for atleast one more year, i liek the guy but youre right he needs more holes to fill.

Apparently Maurice Ager had a great workout for the rockets.

If any of you were completely right, wouldn't they just ignore him and not work him out at all?

i'm a diehard UT fan, and even i'd say no to gibson.
best case, he'd be a bruce bowen-type player at PG.

has the 3-point shot, best strength is a defender.
but still, not someone you want at the point. too short for the 2.

probably having a look as second round material. Couldnt possibly be first, or at least we would massively hope not.

I actually think Ager could be a big sleeper in this draft.

I like Ager's game. I think he will be a solid player in the NBA. He looks athletic and can score. Kind of reminds me of Mobley actually.

I think #8 might be a big high for Ager, but in reality he probably will go somewhere between 10-20.

They have worked out a lot of people the past few days. One of the Gophers worked out yesterday.

Short guard who is not that great of a shooter, he should go back to UT.

Rocks must be thinking 2nd round.
