We're looking for someone to assist on coordinating details for projects and a few assorted other things. It would be a part time (20-25 hours per week), contracted position that would last at the very least until January of 2006.

Most of the work can be done from home, but it would require attending meetings - at the most - once or twice per week, mainly with clients.

The job consists of three areas.

    Project/Support Coordination
Help keep our projects and support requests organized by making a weekly list of what we have done and what is on the agenda for the week. Should be no more than a couple hours each week. Meet with clients (one in particular) and keep detailed project notes and timelines.

    Content Collection/Organization
Help to collect content from clients – text, photos, etc. - to be added to new website projects. Keep track of content needed and remind clients to send things over in required formats. Keep track of resources provided by clients.

    Website Updates
Make minor modifications to client websites - text changes, etc. Requires some understanding of HTML and ability to use editor such as Dreamweaver.

One client will absorb about half of the time with the rest going to other projects as needed.

    ---

If you are interested or know someone who might be, they can email us at info@tworoadsmedia.com. This should be an extremely detail-oriented person and someone who has the discipline to manage things and help us stay organized.

    Thanks!

I was production manager at one of the largest design firms in houston so I know I could do this job in my sleep. However my 50+ hours a week at my regualr gig prevents me from helping you out.

I'll ask around and see if anyone I know is interested.

it sounds interesting, and definitely something I could do, except I have to look into time available.

Can you describe a little more into what you're looking for and what kind of work is to be done?
Approximately how must of the 20-25 hours are doable at home and how many hours in the office?
    Where is the office?
Also, the meetings are on what days? Email to cangren@yahoo.com if you have time, or post it here. Thanks

What kind of experience are you looking for? My wife is very detail oriented and is looking for work that can be done 75% at home. I can teach her MS Project pretty easily and she is already quite able with HTML. I can forward her resume if you like.

    Hello,

The work you described fits well with my current needs. I have been an IT consultant for about 10 years and have done quite a bit of client management as well as project management. Your description sounds very interesting and I would like to learn more.

Please let me know if you are still looking for somebody and I would be glad to forward you my resume and/or meet for a quick discussion to see if this might be a good match for both of us.

A few extra details per your requests...

Most of the time - say 20-22 of 25 hours - will be spent at home with this work. We really just have bi-weekly, sometimes weekly, meetings with one significant client that last a couple hours. Beyond that, the remaining can be handled over the phone and via email.

The meetings vary in terms of day and time but are fairly flexible. They are during work hours (9-5) and tend to either be in the morning (10am) or in the later afternoon (2pm).

The person doesn't need to be a lead on how the project is managed so much as an organizer of details. For example, we often have clients that take a long time to provide us content for their websites meaning a project that should only take 2 months ends up taking 6. Having one person to remind them what we need and keep track of that is a part of what we need along with the ability to organize that same information for our one big client, who is a handful.

The meetings would be more about keeping detailed notes of what happened and distributing those accordingly.

    Hope that helps.
