    hey guys

I was just told by the boss that I will be heading up the HR department in the company along with the Corporate Development department which I am in charge now.

Although I have some knowledge regarding HR and work involved, I was hoping to get some advice from someone more experienced than I am.

Question: I was hoping to write a work plan for the position, in other words I am hoping to write a simple report on where I begin to start work. What should a plan like this for the HR depart consist off? Basically what should be a new HR manager's first job on the position?

    thanks in advance

HR huh? Well, for starters, make everyone else's life a living hell. 2, create as many pointless, time consuming and inefficient procedures as possible. Then, allow for no creativity and/or independent thought. Don't forget to always pass the responsibility to someone else too. Finally, make sure you make it so worthless people can't get fired, which obviously means job security for your department.

Racial sensitivity training. Make sure everyone has to attend. Also hand out certificates when it is completed.

Does the guy that provides you with the best answer get half of your salary?
