List of Words that Should be Banned

I just wanted to make a contribution to the list:

-Grilled to Perfection: as heard in a multitude of restaurant commercials, especially Taco Bell

    some of mine:

irregardless. People, for the last time, it means the same thing as regardless, yet its a double negative. Only stupid people say it. So if you say it, you are one of the stupid ones.

Pronouncing often with the "t". You don't say psychiatrist with the "p", do you? So stop it.

    Damn you all to hell.

People who say/type "could of" instead of the proper "could have".

    Yes, I agree :)

Also, the phrase "If you think about it..."

Are you trying to say that I do not think?!?!

I have carried an unhealthy and violent hatred for the acronym "LOL" since its inception. Well, pretty much all chat and message board acronyms/abbreviations. Just type out the damn words.

Also, when people can't understand something, so they interpret it differently, and it becomes part of the vernacular.

Like instead of saying "suffice it to say", they'll say "sufficient to say".

    I really don't like people.

    "Hook Em"

and any college-related sports terms. Stupid sports terms in general too, like when you're in San Antonio during playoff runs and everybody has to greet eachother with "Go Spurs."

    Honorable mention:

    *****
    Cracka
    Chink
    Spick
    various other racial slurs

But those are too "timeless" to go away any time soon.

"Does anyone have the answer to number a?"

I think all of my teachers have said this at least once this year, and it's annoying as hell.

what about all the girls that say "like" on average twice every sentence.

that pisses me off a little more all the time.

whats even worse is when there really hot and they like you and you cant really say anything about it.

    From Dictionary.com:

Apparently, pronouncing the "t" in "often" comes with education and literacy. Maybe you should rethink that one.

My brother told me that one quite a while ago, but no matter how hard I've tried I just can't pronounce it that way:)
