Wondering about picks in future???

    I know the Rockets will not be able to build the future with 2nd round draft picks, but what is the status of our available picks the next couple of years. Utah has our 1st round this year (I think).... Do we still get Chicago's 2nd round... please help if possible. Thanks

    Chicago's two 2nd rounders(protected 1st) is no longer ours.
    It(they) went to Utah.

    no, we lose our first rounder this year if we make it to the playoffs(its lottery protected), and we lose the chicago picks. we recieved the jazz 2nd round pick this year they recieved from the kings.

    utah will have 4 first rounders next year. (1 from us, their 1st rounder, and 2 from phoenix).

    Cd must be smokeing something, because he thinks 1st round picks are garbage beacause he gives them away like nothing.

    eh, in all honesty, there arent that many players outside of the lottery picks that will really help our team, we need a PF and a heady PG, and maybe a backup C, if we ever decide to move Cato. All of those spots for our picks in that range, have either players that are only potential and will not help out any more than Boki. aside for a few lottery picks, next years draft is lackluster, we may get lucky, but this isnt the year to place bets on it.

    besides....it is a known fact that VG dont like to use rookies...any draftees we got would end up eithe ron IR or at the far end of the bench behind Boki and AG
