we are starting a new co-ed soccer team to play in Houston Women's Soccer Association. Currently we have 13 on the roster but need 18 to fill. We are looking for women who may be interested in playing. Season starts Sept. 12, all games played on Sunday evenings. Skill level doesn't matter. Currently the team consists of semi-pro and beginners who never played before. we welcome all, it is a division 3 level recreational team. Anyone interested let me know. Its a great way to excercise instead running on some treadmill or riding a stationary bike.
Wait a minute... if it is Women's Soccer Association, why is it COED? Shouldn't it just be female? Anyway, can I come to watch the games? I don't think my wife will ever want to play... she ain't the "athletic" type... ... and where is a website or place I could call for info? ... and do you have little league teams? ... and why do I use so much punctuaction on BBS's?
1. yes it is women's but they have 3 leagues. women, coed, and women over 30. 2. yes you can watch games. usually there about 5-6 games going on at once with a few people watching here or there. 3. HWSA 4. no little league, but bear creek does. 5. that's a personal issue.
I am looking for an outdoor mens team if you know of any that are looking for players...Currently playing Indoor to keep in shape.
i would try the hfa. its an all mens league with 3 divisions. alot of former college and houston hotshots play in that league. they do have a player roundup coming up.
