I saw that the other day and can only say that is so damn cool. I've been up around that area looking for land. It's pretty isolated. Ranch and farm land with the Sherman-Denison area to the east and the DFW area far to the south.
Not to be a wet blanket, but if they are saying that happened last weekend, it isn't true. By statute, foreclosure sales in Texas ONLY occur on the first Tuesday of each month.
From the Texas Property Code. Sec. 51.002. SALE OF REAL PROPERTY UNDER CONTRACT LIEN. (a) A sale of real property under a power of sale conferred by a deed of trust or other contract lien must be a public sale at auction held between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. of the first Tuesday of a month.
