Casual Wolves fan here. Was a die hard one until i got fed up with management during KG era. Thought i'd join to get the outlook from Rockets fans. My thoughts on the matchup this year? Hoping to steal one. Would have loved an extra week back with Butler but Wolves wouldn't be the 8th seed if that was the case and we wouldn't be here. Horrible matchup but hoping injuries allow a victory sometime. Butler is the guy that i can't get enough of. KAT is trash. Much like Love, alot of stat padding. Don't let that fool you. Wiggins is the X factor. He currently is sucking but could see him either being horribly underwhelming or stepping up. My thoughts on Rockets. Harden's most impressive skill is his passing. Replace CP with a quality role player and Harden can still be magical. Nice quality supporting cast but CP provides back up when needed. Anyway, Good luck (not this round, not needed) FWIW, Rockets in 6 over Warriors in WCF for the championship.
I hate that we had to play the Wolves in the first round, because I'd actually like to cheer for the Wolves against someone else. Eddie Griffin brings us together.
Disagree with you. I like Taj, Butler, and a few roll players. Coach, KAT and Wiggins are underwhelming.
Tomball? He shouldn't be the star. He needs to be the second or third go to player for scoring..............
You should've traded Wiggins in the moment you traded for Butler but eh, easy to say it now. Maybe someone will still bite, teams like Kings, Mavs, Knicks maybe...i also don't get why Thibs signed Teague tbh, to me it's a bad fit and kinda overrated too. George Hill or even better Beverley would've been better imo.
I tried to tell my fellow Rockets fans to stop assuming a slaughter/sweep...I fully expected at least 6 games and obviously given how game 1 has gone so far, I'm not changing that prediction.
