Very, very cool. I have a feeling I will be using Wolfram a LOT when it is released. I hope it does sports too so I can ask questions like "what was the career playoff TS% of World B. Free?"
Well, the site says it will be released this month, so I'm guessing it's much more than just a concept at this point.
I want this on my phone, and I want voice recognition input. Thx. The next generation should use one of these to ask questions. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/BKd_AJUUT7Q&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/BKd_AJUUT7Q&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Speaking of prodigies... hehe. This is pretty cool - thanks for posting. Here is Stephen Wolfram's blog : http://blog.wolfram.com/2009/03/05/wolframalpha-is-coming/
It takes some getting used to and obviously has a ways to go. Going forward, I think it has a lot of potential.
Anyone try this? Checked it out a bit today, not so impressed. Could be that I didnt use it properly, or that I didnt have a good question -- at this point, it will be forgotten in my mind and i will continue with google. Unless i hear otherwise
No, it's not just you. It blows. I then asked it why wolfram's search engine sucked so much and it didn't have an answer for that either.
