Different kind of player. Hayward's more like a Dunleavy jr. with good defense at least at college level.

thunder have 4 picks in the draft now, 3 in the first round. watch them trade all of them and next years 1st and get cousins or something.

    Pg westbrook
    Sg harden
    Sf durant
    Pf green
    C cousins

there you go. in two years they beat the bulls 72-10 record.

Babbitt might be too slow to play effectively in the big leagues.

I don't get the Hayward thing. His shooting would help them I suppose.

What does CBud have to do with Gordan Hayward climbing up the draft boards? They are not even the same type player.

Jonathan Givoney at Draftexpress keeps saying that multiple teams are telling him that OKC is trying to get to #10 to draft COLE ALDRICH. If that is the case, and if Cole is still on the board at #14, I wonder if Morey would be interested in trading down with OKC and getting #18 and #26 (I doubt they'd get #21).

I recall a recent interview with Gersson Rosas where he said that they valued players in the "6 to 17" range around the same. So, all it takes is one team ahead of the Rockets taking a guy outside of the Rockets' "Top 17" in order for Houston to be able to trade down, still get a guy they have ranked in the same range, plus another first rounder.

    Thoughts?

Yep... I can't help but wonder what OKC is going to do tonight. Rumors are flying around that they want to use Eric Manor and picks to get in the top ten. The only way I see them getting Cousins is if OKC will include Harden with picks to Minny. I'm high on Harden so I don't don't know if OKC will make that move.

OKC and Portland are the team to watch today/tonight. I don't care what KP stated yesterday in the news. He's going to try and make a big big splash tonight to save his job.

Morey and the group around him always find a way to wring the most value out of their draft picks. Someone they want is going to slide. Hell, there are some guys in this draft who will be way undervalued that could probably come in right away and make an impact, even 2nd-rounders, maybe even guys that don't get drafted (Marquis....Blakely? can't remember his name now, he worked out twice for the Rockets).

The sexy draft would involve moving up and nabbing a high pick. Is Morey ready to aim for Trophy Wife player or go for that player that might not have turned your head before, but at second and third glance, makes you say, Yeah, o.k....I get it now.

So Hayward can't do anything AMAZING but does a lot of things WELL?

How do teams can't burnt by this every year?
    That's the BUST recipe!
    Come on!
