So you think 44 minutes is just right for an NBA player to play? Also this game Lebron had 35 pts, a triple double and 3 steals. Dwade had 8 in 2-12 shooting. Somehow he's the one quitting on the team. Way to blame the wrong player.
There is absolutely no reason to tell that to the media. He can always tell the coach personally. and I also thought Lebron played damn well yest. just that he is slowly catching the McGrady media disease.. you get criticized A LOT only if you do all sorts of things to draw attention to yourself. Wade, on the other hand, is smart.
Woj hates him . I have no clue why. and Lebron needs some media coaching . just needs to say the right things after these kinda losses.. something like "we wil come back strong.. re group .." etc.. instead he says he is tired.. weak Lebron has to remember that the media thinks that he is elite Jordan, Kobe- level player. unfortunately for Lebron, the media and the fans expect similar characteristics, commitment, swagger and behavior. when he doesnt live up to those expectations, he draws a lot of flak
hey lebron maybe you should have thought about that when you went to a team with no one behind you and wade. and man miami looks very poorly coached. when you watch boston they have talent and they pass and play like a championship team. no ball stoppers and enjoyable to watch.
Woj has had a special brand of contempt for LeBron ever since the Decision fiasco. He's willing to say that the Heat are really good with their talent and are championship contenders, but he never hesitates to dish out vitriol directly at LeBron, who he considers to be a spoiled, immature baby superstar who surrounds himself with yes-men and doesn't know how to take responsibility. For a narcissist who seems to love the camera as much as LeBron does, it's pretty damning to suggest that he still needs to be taught how to talk to the media, isn't it?
In yesterdays game he could really be tired. Did you see Wade? The guy was standing in the corner and jacking up step back jumpshots. Chris Bosh was watching Rondo dunk on his ass. LeBron has to do EVERYTHING. He had to drive himself through Boston's entire defense for those 44 minutes. I actually understand that.
Miami looks like it doesn't even run any offense. Pick and roll for James/Wade and thats about it. Cleveland 2.0 if you ask me. Give the ball to James/Wade and hope for the best. It's pretty ugly to watch IMO. And if Miami wants to make any noise at all, they need to find a capable PG and Center. Seems like every good PG will have a field day with Miami. Anyone notice Wade's body language last night? Looked like he didn't even want to be on the floor playing. He didn't hustle back on defense or anything. And when he asked Lebron for the ball towards the end of the fourth quarter, Lebron waved him off. Definitely some ego clashing going on here.
Woj's hell bent blood feud with LeBron makes for some fun reports and digs, I'll admit. But ditto to justtxyank's post. LeBron is doing his job. Wade's putting up decent numbers as well (though shut down last night). Not enough criticism directed to Bosh's pansy "won't guard, won't board, won't work" routine.
the media, you gotta love them. if you don't say the politically correct thing, you're screwed. and what does woj have against lebron? it's like lebron did something to his family. damn vicious article. blames everything on lebron.
Didn't Lebron go to Miami so he DOESN'T have to play so much and carry the load? Couldn't he have at least coaxed some assurances from Riley regarding his minutes? The more I see the Heat play, the more I respect Pat Riley. He made Lebron believe that Lebron can coast while blowing everyone out. Instead, he's riding Lebron MORE than even in Cleveland. Riley is more of a genius that I could've possibly thought.
Yet Woj stuck up for Mcgrady last year during his comeback. So it's not that this guy hates divas, he just hates the ones that won't butter him up.
