The Sonics are 1-4 and have lost their last three games (all on the road) by 25, 27 & 41 points! In 8 minutes tonight, Fortson had 5 fouls, 2 TOs and the rest zeroes. Radmanovic, after complaining about playing time, played 15 minutes and was 1/5 for two points and five fouls.

IMO, losing McMillan was huge, especially with his hard emphasis on defense. Maybe Bob Weiss has lost the team already because I can't believe losing AD and Jerome James was that big a deal.

The other question is are the Wizards better than last year or are they again just another soft regular season team guaranteed a first round exit in the playoffs.

looks like if the Wiz continue this type of playing they could have a great chance to get out of the first round, MAYBE further, but Its Pistons that will be coming out of the east. Miami is trash, they are what the lakers were a few years back with Malone Shaq Kobe and GP. too much talent to really get anything done. i see miami gettin knocked out in the 2nd round. by like the nets or something. or even better the Wizards!

They beat the Bulls in the first round of the playoffs, 7 games I think. They started wearing these t-shirts about "Going To Miami" which I thought was kind of dumb.

Unless of course you are predicting a 1st round exit, not saying they will repeat last year's performance, in which case, ignore me.

I forgot the Wizards beat the Bulls last year. Interesting team. I love Gilbert Arenas; he comes to play every game. I like Antawn Jamison and Eddie Jordan. They stole Caron Butler from the Lakers. If they add an inside scorer, they almost become a contender. They also need to dump Jared Jeffries and find a true starting caliber SF. He's done nothing since leaving IU early.

Yeah.. but last year the Wizards would have got beat had the Bulls had Luol Deng (wrist injury) and Eddie Curry (heart ailment). It would have been very interesting if the Bulls had made it to the 2nd round. I think if they Wizards play someone with a little defense.. then they are gonna have problems.

edit: glad to be wrong when they play the Spurs!

Looks like these Wizards are for real - they just beat the HotSpurs (in a blow-out).

On the court and during practice, the guy represents what is great about the NBA. He is completely dedicated to the game and earns every cent he gets!

Well, that french punk Parker probablly D'd him up the whole game (I didn't get to see, I was at the Bucks game watching them come back to beat the Pacers on a last second shot by Mo Williams....AMAZING!!!). Parker couldn't guard a bucket of water.

You're right, though I think that beat the Bulls in 6 games on a last second shot.
