So 2 things... I went to the game tonight.

    NBA-related:

The Hawks impressed the hell out of me. Marvin Williams has progressed..still hits the midrange with great consistency like last year, but now takes it to the hole some and will get in there for some boards. He's becoming a legit player. Al Horford is an absolute beast compared to the rest of the rookies out there right now, except for Durant I guess. He finishes around the basket, rebounds, hustles...man, he'd be a great upgrade over Hayes ;) Acie Law looked horrible, but I think he was coming off an injury. Josh Smith had a pretty bad game and didn't even give me anything spectacular on an 1-on-0 breakaway, so screw him!

    non-hoops-related:

The Wizards did a hilarious thing to get the crowd into it. The whole game, the crowd was kinda whatever...not cheering a ton, not booing a ton..just here and there. 2nd half, whenever the Hawks shot free throws, the jumbotron showed a HUGE Dallas Cowboys logo! The Redskins fans (first) would start booing like hell! Later on, they showed a collage of Aikman, Jerry Jones, Irvin, and Emmitt. More booing. Then more of the star. It was great.. and a hell of an idea.
