After the last lockout every team got one, I'd take anything to get rid of this scrub.

We can stretch provision him though which lowers his cap hit to like 3m per year for the next 5ish.

The CBA expires again this offseason, I was wondering if teams would be granted this again for the new one next season.

    ^ This.

At worst, we can free up 5 million dollars in cap space. Which should come in handy, thank you.

we shouldn't stretch him. Unless we sit and talk with Durant and Conley/Horford and they say that they want to come here.
I'm certainly against stretching him to add Rhyno or Barnes at 20+ per each or some other overpaid roleplayer.

At the end of next season he will be an expiring and easier to get rid of.

Brewer IF fine . .. . if you can trade him . . . .kool
If not . . . there needs to be SOMEONE at the 15th spot on the bench

While I don't like him much at this moment
he is NOT the #1 priority this off season one way or the other
