    I've had enough stories of the "Boston curse" saturating the sports news throughout my lifetime.

    Could you just imagine the number of sappy stories and headlines that the world would be inundated with if these people actually won?

    Enough with the East Coast love-fest. Go Giants. Go Marlins. Go Twins. Go ANYBODY but the Yankees, Cubs, or Red Sox. Seriously.

    they had the best offense in the league this year...and they have freaking Pedro.

    whiners?? when did the red sox whine this year?? i mean..the fans maybe...but the players?? am i missing something?

    they wouldnt be in the position theyre in with jimy williams as their manager still. i hope the same goes for the stros. red sox end the drought, cubs forever without a ring.

    pedro is my favorite non-astro so i guess i can pull for the sox. mainly i just want somebody to knock the friggin' cubs out though. i hate them.

    The Sox fans piss me off because they remind me of Oklahoma fans - they're completely obsessed with hating their rival, even when they're not playing against each other (Yankees Suck/Texas Sucks). It's annoying and stupid.

    I'll root for anyone but the Yankees. All day long, I deal with smug Yankee fanatics, and I'd like nothing better than for their team to fall on its ass. Kind of like in 2001. Man, that was a fun time to be a Yankee hata. Ah.... Good times, noodle salad...

    Anyone but the Yankees, but I'm not about to start rooting for the Red Sox, Cubs, or anyone else for that matter. As much as the Astros blew @$$ this last week, I wont turn my back on them.
