We get it Obama has been overly cautious and or impressed/ afraid of the 1% on Wall Street, the military and the Ivies. Can he still think the Repubs and Fox will respond to politeness and compromise? No more elections for him to win.

Time to lead and move on (. org) on the economy, the environment, improving the plight of the 99% even if the more selfish of the 1% or their Fox besotted lower income allies sqawk a bit.

No more Mr Nice Guy. If the GOP won't get serious about fair taxation, fair trade, and regulating wall street, he needs to fist them up the ###.

The president wasn't intimidated or scared, it's common sense and strategy. I strongly believe he intends to push harder now, as he stated to, I think it was some Russian official, that he would have to wait till his second term to do certain things.

I'm not sure about intimidated, but hopefully just overly impressed by the elites that he has lived with since he started an elite high school.

Of course he could just turn out to be just an elitist moderate/corporate Dem.

Or to put it more neutrally, just a born facilitator, happy for small compromises, who will go with the corporate flow.

    We should find out.
