Last year and earlier this year when Bev & Lin were healthy AB never played. Is that going to be the case again starting tomorrow with Bev's return? If so, that is a shame as AB is the only true outside shooting threat we have (in my opinion). It was fun while it lasted.....
Moreys plan since this summer has been to trade LIN to help with 3rd star or cap space, hint Lin, brooks, bev and drafting Canaan, PG is our deepest position... Something will happen.
As stated above, i think this is more of a concern for lin than brooks. Brooks has been contributing closely, sometimes more than lin as of recently. So i think ultimately his minutes will cut into Lins minutes.
Rockets need Brooks for <strike>the championship run</strike> the championship they're gonna win this year.
the poison pills of asik and lin is coming back to bite us in the ass. no one is willing to pay them 15 million for that 3rd year. really like AB playing for us and would suck if he would not get playing time anymore, but with no garcia, lin and ab could play together for now
this board is too reactionary. brooks this month, we all think is palying real well. he's doing 7 ppg on 54-55 ts in 20 mpg with 2 assists. i understand lin has been playing like garbage lately, but imo i'll wait and see a bit more how he does in the bench role again where he played real well off the bench - especialy with bev in the start of the 2nd quarter. he was doing 13 ppg in 27 mpg when he was comin off the bench. patience is the key. cuz let's be honest, if lin started doing 7 ppg and 2 apg in 20 mpg on 36/40...we'd all be lookin to cut his head off, because we know he can do better. for brooks, it's solid, because it's around what we expect. that's the diff. patience. saying that, lin is expendable, but meh. call me a whatever, but i'd like to see lin off the bench opposed to brooks.
