Im leaving for Saudi Arabia via dubai and later to India in about 12 hours. Im a little scared of going there due to the recent attacks on Americans, and eventhough I dont look "American", Many of my friends there do and are american, and tehy live in american condo's/complexes. I will enjjoy my half week in Dubaii tho. but then its a boring few weeks in Saudi before I hit up India then london and then return around August. I should be able to post from there, but I dunno for the first time in my life im freaked out about going to the country I was born and raised 5 teenage years in(saudi). I just graduated not 24 hours ago and I just turned 18... And the best part is I hate planes. Ive traveled in planes my whole life, but everytime i get on the plane its the worst feeling ever. Welll I guess my 18th birthday will be spent on continental Airlines.. WOOO HOOO. I guess I will hollar at you guys in a week or so, hopefully. But just to let it be said, this is the greatest site EVER... I LOVE THIS SITE, THANKS FOR THIS CLUTCH. Good Bye.
Good luck homie. Dubai is freakin awesome! I'll be there for the fourth time in less then a year. I just booked our honeymoon tix to Maldives and Dubai in August. I know it'll be super hot in Dubai, but its not like we were planning on getting out of our room much anyways.
Good luck and have fun. Sounds like a heck of an adventure for someone your age... make the most of it... and don't be paranoid... just be aware. (It's amazing to me how unobservant most folks are to what is going on around them... we have group mailboxes built into a little shed thing and there's a bird's nest under the awning... I watch my neighbors go up to the mailbox everyday and they never see the bird freak out and fly out of the nest. Now obviously that's not the same thing as going to a foreign country, but the principle's the same... know the world around you and train yourself to be observant or you might miss something you'd wish you had seen.)

Oh yeah just reminded me it's my brother's 24th today too. How does legality feel? I'll know in about 6 days (4 more days if you Mary-Kate and Ashley pervs care). Hey Adeel, have a safe flight. I went out to Khobar yesterday for the first time since the attacks. And man, it was really stressful. I went to a couple of stores early in the morning and then left. The store owners were unbelieveably friendly, which is making me think believe that their business must be getting hit badly by the lack of shopping in the city by expats. It's just too scary right now. I am leaving the Country early, I planned to leave Saudi on July 23, but I am leaving back to the USA on June 17th. Current events have really not been too pleasent, there were two more shootings in the last week, both in Riyadh. Anyways, stay safe dude. Have a safe trip. OH YEAH!....Happy Birthday!
