I was at a coffee shop and used its wireless with no problems....until I got this sudden urge to download music from limewire. What a great move huh? Anyway, before I know it...I'm being blocked out of internet explorer and my instant messengers all stopped working. I can still connect and get great signal, but I can't open up any pages. My friend told me that they banned my "mac"? address. Is there a way to go around it?
This place is called "Roasters" and it's in Amarillo. The starbucks here don't have outlets for my laptop and it's really loud there. I've been here for almost 2 years now because of pharmacy school, but I'm dying to get out of here! There is absolutely no where to go.....but on the bright side, I'll be in Dallas for rotations in august.

Thanks man...but it's not "easy" for me at all. Anyway, if I change my mac address, will it interfere with connecting on the school networks?
Actually I went to the 2nd link at first and it confused the hell out of me. Then I just d/led the file on the first page and it was pretty simple to change it. Now i just need to go back and see if it works....please prayyyyyyyy for me!
If you have any problems anywhere else, you can always change it back to your original mac address. I keep a mac address changing program on a flash drive -- it can be very handy.
I have a friend who went to Pharm. school there and transferred to Dallas about a year ago. Have you eaten at the Big Texan yet? I was born in Borger (45 min from Amarillo).
I've always wanted to eat there, but for some reason always forgot to haha. Anyway, who is your friend? I may know him since he was probably here last year.
That's what I thought at first, but I've been here for 2 years and I just can't take it anymore. If you're married with kids, then maybe it's not too bad....but for a single guy that's 21 years old, it's just not working out too well.
