Can anyone recommend a good wireless adapter for the 360, besides the $100 Microsoft one? I just bought me a 360 yesterday but didnt realize I had to buy an adapter. I've been able to get on Live by connecting it through my laptop, but the connectivity is very inconsistent. I just need an 802.11b adapter, because thats all my router supports. Thanks!

You might try EB Games for a used original XBOX wireless adapter (not the 360 one) that supports 802.11b/g. I have not had problems with mine on the 360, but I was using it on 802.11g instead of the 802.11b.

Check out Walmart. They have the d-link and linksys usb wifi game adapters for $50-$60.

I don't know what your living situation is (i.e. wife that might not like a cable strung through the house), but I just bought a fifty foot ethernet cable and use that. It provides the most consistent connection you can get.

You should check out the used market for a deal. Something like this on EBay would be cheap if it is a knockoff.

There's only a few wireless chipsets out there, and even fewer that run off USB. Do some research, find the compatible chipsets and start shopping.
