http://www.wingsoverhouston.com/ October 8-9, 2005 Ellington Field - Houston, Texas I'm going to this, anyone else here interested in this kind of stuff too?
I have been to this with my brother and nephew. I will post a video of what I recorded in 2001 (I think) when I get home. It's nice to see the actual older planes flying and the war re-enactments. Wouldn't take my 2 girls, but I will consider it in the next few years.
I go every year, I live in a family full of private pilots... although I'm the back sheep in that respect, but am working on it. It's good family fun and needs the support to keep it going considering Ellignton's cutbacks.
"Must be hard being the back sheep." - Forrest Gump What does the back sheep do, pick up the poopie? jk svper, around how much is it to learn how to fly an airplane? We have a small airport in Katy that teaches and charges $49 the first lesson. Is that good?
