My relatives dl viruses like crazy on their PC and im starting to get sick of fixing their PC all the time (every 3-4 months). Is there an option where you can log in to use the PC, but not install programs? I've looked under user accounts - guest account but I've never used it. Does anyone have experience in this that can help me out?

restricted account? you can grant the account admin rights or not, and if that doesnt work, how about one of those network accounts that offices and schools use.

You can use a program like DeepFreeze to "freeze" the computer in a state where it's not virused-up and stuff, then if they do something to it, a restart will return it to the original state.
