That would be pretty sweet on a tablet, the multi tasking (switching between that video etc. ) was awesome. Although we love our xoom.
I was about to jump onboard the Xoom with it's Android Honeycomb but decided to wait for it to mature. Should also be good for laptops.

But for some reason I'm not a big fan on using Mango on such a small screen. It was build more towards a tablet.
All these UIs and stuff are cool and all, but I doubt they are faster than using alt tab and a keyboard and a mouse.Just give me a shell and I am good. I do like powershell they offer in win7. Might be cool for a tablet. BTW XP is still the most popular OS in the world.

It's like having an iPad that can utilize Windows 7 environment natively. None of that remote client crap, and none of that apple tax bs. Kudos to Microsoft, you've broken the 3 screen rule fluidly.
Microsoft is playing the game that Apple started. A lot of hard core Windows power users are a little pissed with this new Windows 8. But I'm pretty sure there will be options to turn that off and go back to the Windows 7 interface. Microsoft pretty much cover all their bases. Tablets(slates), Desktop PC, Laptops(netbook) and mobile phone. Still curious to know how it function with a mouse and keyboard. I wouldn't be surprised that Apple also have something in store but I think Android just got left behind.

Just like a lot of people were reluctant to upgrade to 7, upgrade to vista, upgrade to 98, upgrade to 95... Upgrading brings the b!tchyness out of all old techies. Honestly, between WP7.1, Windows 8, and the Xbox 360 features coming out I would crap a brick if I was Apple or Sony. Microsoft cheated, they finally pulled all their stuff together into one nice bundle...
